Here's how the ShipBikes.com system works:

Shipbikes.com is a safe, convenient way to ship your bicycle anywhere in the contiguous U.S. In most cases, all you need to do is lower or remove the seat, rotate the handlebars back, and remove the front wheel. Your bicycle's precise derailleur and brake adjustments are unaffected, and your pedals stay on the bike. Even triathlon-bars fit neatly in the front section of the AirCaddy. Why wait in long lines at the airport? Avoid the hassle; all you need is a credit card, phone or computer, and a small roll of packing tape.

1. Purchase your K-9100 Compact AirCaddy container for $99.95. We do not accept any other type of bicycle shipping container.

2. Pack your bicycle using the easy-to-follow instructions. Maximum weight of the packed AirCaddy is 60 lbs.

3. Go to schedule shipping and delivery to enter your shipping and billing information (one-way shipping rates begin at $58). After receiving your shipping label via e-mail, simply print and attach it to your packed AirCaddy.

4. Call 1.800.GoFedEx (1.800.463.3339) or visit www.fedex.com to find FedEx drop-off locations or to schedule a pick-up. If you have any questions, feel free to call SHIPBIKES.COM at 1-800-323-4083.
